North City woman held on murder charges

A verbal altercation turned physical and then deadly, resulting in a North St. Louis woman being charged with murder.

Police reported that Telisha Liggins was arguing Thursday with Joel Bivens at his residence on Maffit Ave. The shouting match resulted in tragedy when Liggins reportedly struck the victim numerous times and stabbing him at least once.
