East St. Louis Branch NAACP and Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF) Healthy Start Male Involvement Program encourage local men to seek the care they need for themselves and their families by joining them for Men’s Health Day on Saturday, June 18 in recognition of Men’s Health Month.

During the event, men will learn about the health disparities that affect African American males and get the necessary screenings needed to put them on the path toward greater health. Men’s Health Day includes a variety of services for men without medical insurance or a medical provider, including:

Blood pressure, glucose and other health screeningsHealth assessments from a SIHF medical provider (by appointment only - call 618-646-2506)HIV and STD testingHealth insurance enrollmentHealth and wellness informationGiveaways and door prizes
