Archery

The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a free Archery Basics for Families class 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at the August A. Busch Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center, located at 3550 Route D in Defiance, approximately five miles west of Highway 94. The class is free and open to those age nine and older; however, participants 9-15 must be accompanied by an adult. These programs will introduce the fundamentals for safely and successfully shooting a compound bow, followed by hands-on practice. All equipment will be provided.
