Sallie M. Bracy (nee Hogue) went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 19, 2005. She was the beloved mother of Kevin Raymond (Lynda) Taylor and Harry Raymond (Sandra) Bracy and the sister of William (Clara) Hogue, Shirley Hogue, and David (Jimell) Foote. She was the daughter of Sirlee Foote.
Her mother, Annie L. Foote, father, Walter Hogue, and brother, Paul L. (Antoinette) Foote, preceded her in death.
Sallie was blessed and highly favored to have a deep faith in the Lord, and she believed death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. She truly was loved.
She leaves to celebrate her homegoing one aunt, Martha Brown; nephews and nieces Wayne (Teresa) Hogue, Gary, Patricia and Glenn Hogue, and Paula (Keith) Rogers, Paul L. (Stacy) Foote, Jr., Marcanthony, Tiffany, and Ashley Foote; great nephews and nieces Eric and Monica Hogue, Kayla and Kristina Rogers, Mia and Sterling Foote and Tamica Daniels; and a host of relatives and friends, all of whom she loved with all her heart.
Visitation is Thursday, March 24, 4-9 p.m. at Austin A. Layne Mortuary, 7239 W. Florissant Ave. Funeral services are Friday, March 25, 2005, 10 a.m., Pleasant Green M.B. Church, 4570 Page. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
