Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Danny Amendola has signed with the Detroit Lions, the team announced Monday.
A source told ESPN's Dianna Russini that the deal is for one year, $4.5 million and could be worth up to $5.75 million.
He was released by the Dolphins on Friday.
An 11-year veteran, Amendola started his NFL career as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech in 2008. He has caught 485 passes for 4,684 yards and 20 touchdowns while also playing for the Rams and New England Patriots – where he won two Super Bowl rings.
