Steve Kerr, right, and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors .

The Golden State Warriors swept the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.

The series was Portland’s longest playoff run in 19 years ended with a four-game dismissal by the Warriors with a 119-117 overtime win.

The Warriors are headed to the NBA Finals, but Portland’s ascension to the Western Conference finals was a victory for the team.

They failed to win a playoff game the past two years, getting swept by the Warriors in 2017 and the New Orleans Pelicans last season.
