If you were watching Monday night’s Cardinals game against Pittsburgh on Fox Sports, you might have thought just for a second it was a visit back to the 1940s or 50s. All Asian people know martial arts, just like all black people like fried chicken, just like all Irish people are prone to drink too much, just like all Jewish people are tight with money. Obviously, these statements are false, but apparently anything goes if you broadcast for the Cardinals.
The SportsEye wonders how long it will be before “The Mad Hungarian” breaks out with a stanza of Carl Douglas’ “”Kung Fu Fighting” when Taguchi is at-bat.
