The Asthma and Allergy Foundation, St. Louis Chapter (AAFA), is looking for exceptional, asthmatic, high school students to apply for the Ralph E. Kaufman scholarship. The scholarship, given in honor of the late Ralph E. Kaufman, is part of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation’s 18th Annual Golf Classic.
Asthmatic high school seniors who have demonstrated superior athletic or academic skills and shown an interest in their school and community are invited to apply for this award. The applicant must also plan on attending college during the 2006/2007 school year. The AAFA scholarship committee will award a minimum of one scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 and the money will be sent to the college or university of the student’s choice to help defray the cost of his or her education.
