My girl Alice Prince got it done with her Raw Sugar debut last Thursday at The Improv in Union Station. She said it wouldn’t be just another poetry set, and she delivered. Alice is trying to bring together poetry and music and art – and, yeah, black and white folks; she’s one of those people working against the odds to find some common ground on the cultural scene. It’s an every Thursday thing. We’ll keep checking it out and wishing her much love.
