Join the Lupus Foundation of America, Missouri Chapter on November 11 for a spot of tea and a dollop of fashion.
The Festive, Fabulous Fashion Tea will begin at 12 p.m. and take place at The Ladies of Lucerne, 930 Kehrs Mill Rd. The tea is $40 per person (tax and gratuity included) and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the LFA, Missouri Chapter. The LFA, Missouri Chapter is a 501 C-3 health organization whose mission is to support lupus patients and their family through community education, research and patient support.
Lupus is a chronic disease that for unknown reasons causes the immune system to mistakenly attack the body’s own healthy cells, causes a host of debilitating symptoms. The disease strikes mostly women in their childbearing years, with the highest prevalence among women of color.
