At 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley will lead an interactive demonstration of the latest broadband and wireless technology infrastructure innovations at the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater in Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Dooley said he will show the possibilities available in creating a “Technology Quilt” for St. Louis County and the region.
The event will include a demonstration and discussion of technology infrastructure benefits to St. Louis County residents and workers with regards to economic development, public health, disaster preparedness, homeland security, education and entertainment.
The demonstration will be moderated by John Temporiti, chief of governmental affairs for St. Louis County, and NetLabs LLC Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer David Sandel.
Representatives from the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the University of Missouri-St. Louis and other regional groups will take part in the program. Participants will connect via broadband and wireless to showcase the potential capabilities of a strong technology
