Former President Bill Clinton will be at The Pageant on Saturday campaigning for Democratic senatorial candidate Claire McCaskill.
Clinton will join McCaskill and other elected officials for a Democratic rally to kick off the last 8 weeks until the November 7th election.
A St. Louis Post-Dispatch/Survey 2000 Poll has McCaskill and incumbent Sen. Jim Talent in a virtual dead heat, with challenger leading 47 percent to 46 percent.
The close contest and rally is expected to bring out thousands of volunteers who will participate in an aggressive get-out-the-vote effort through November.
A USAT TODAY poll from Sept. 1 showed Sen. Talent with a six-point lead among likely voters over Democrat Claire McCaskill. The two were tied among registered voters, as is the case with the P-D poll.
