The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is in “urgent” need of graphing or scientific pocket calculators and monthly planners for its Gear Up program.
Gear Up (Gaining Early Awareness and readiness for Undergraduate Programs) serves 9th grade students with a goal of increasing the number of students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.
The program serves students in the Bayless, Ferguson-Florissant, Hancock Place, Hazelwood (East), Jennings, Normandy, Ritenour, Riverview Gardens, St. Louis, University City and Wellston districts.
