On October 10, 1953, Alnita was united in Holy Matrimony to Bennie Campbell. This union was blessed with 12 children.
Alnita was a judge on the Board of Elections and was Block Captain of 1187. She was a devoted wife, mother and housekeeper. She opened her home to many people, giving them shelter, food and clothes.
On March 29, 2009, God called her from labor to reward. She leaves to cherish her memory: 11 children, Vincent (Sharon), Juanita (Ronald), Michael (Carol), Allen (Marjorie), Frank, Francine, Rita (Daniel), Marilyn, Patricia, Linda (LeVonne Jr.) and Steven (Sharita); 61 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
