Tanya Alexander, a St. Louis native, high school valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Saint Louis University, received proclamations and the keys to the City of Jennings and St. Louis County. A current resident of Los Angeles, Alexander recently won Best Music Video at the 2009 Hollywood Black Film Festival in Beverly Hills.
