St. Louis hip-hip station Hot 104.1 FM has been the talk of industry for the past few days after an interview with rapper DMX that featuring he veteran MC expressing his distaste for popular artist Plies.
The rapper appeared on Young Dip’s show and after Young Dip finished playing a song by Fort Meyers, Florida rapper Plies, DMX shared his opinion with the station’s hundreds-of-thousands of listeners.
“I don’t even know who the worst is, but he has to be one of the worst,” DMX said. “I mean ‘Bruh Bruh?’ Serious? that has to be one of the worst. How do you even fix your mouth to say that or spell that? I am looking at how it’s spelled.”
“On a serious note, what a lot of people don’t understand, is that we as artists, are teachers. And if you teach people to spell like that and talk like that, then you dumber than the people you are supposed to be teaching.”
DMX is in the studio with Dame Grease, Swizz Beatz, Diesel and Scott Storch, who are crafting a new, highly anticipated album from the rapper, born Earl Simmons.
