Sonya Brooks-White has been appointed director of human resources for the City of Florissant, the largest city in St. Louis County with 52,000 residents, by Mayor Thomas P. Schneider. She previously served as human resources manager and deputy city clerk for the City of Ferguson, where she worked since 2003. Prior to that, she held positions with AT&T and Lucent Technologies. Â
