When I say folks were crammed up to get a sip of Brian McKnight’s croonin’, understand that there wasn’t even room for a man to run his fingers through his lady’s lacefront…for BOTH SHOWS. And while he is more than a little blah when he ain’t singing, I was overjoyed by Brian’s vocals and the overall vibe of the night – and the fans were indeed beyond thrilled and grateful for the up close and personal show. That was until it was time to go and this tipsy middle aged man started heckling St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo about what the Rams need to be doing for next season. Really sir? So you think that he is gonna remember and apply your little funky suggestion after ruining a wonderful night with his lovely wife? So I guess he’s going to be at the first practice like, “There was a tipsy elderly ratchet man hollering about offense at the Brian McKnight show last February…so I think that’s the direction we will take the team with respect to our primary focus for the season…” Sir, if you see he and his wife at another musical outing – which is likely because they obviously love them some R&B – take MY advice and MUTE THAT MESS!
