headaches, Ms. H continues to persevere. She would like to someday

become an LPN.

B. is a single mother of a 15-year-old who is on disability for

depression. After paying for bills and expensive medical co-pays,

there is little for food. No one should have to suffer from hunger

high school and a caring mother. Ms. B. would appreciate furniture,

household items and information regarding utility assistance since

both her gas and electricity have been turned off.

O. is the essentially single mother of a four-year-old, expecting

another child next month. She has suffered physical and emotional

domestic abuse from an unsupportive father who visits unexpectedly

and steals from them.  Although she works full time, she can’t

afford a new bed for her child, replacements for clothes he has out

grown, clothes for the new baby, and a couch better than her

current one which has a large hole in it. Ms. O is very determined

to triumph and is anxious to enroll in CWAH educational

programs.
