Shirley Ann Lyons Clark, the third daughter of Alvin Van and Beatrice Bell Lyons was born on December 19, 1934. She received her elementary and secondary education in the St. Louis Public Schools. Mrs. Clark earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Louis University, majoring in Physical Therapy and furthered her studies at Webster University, and Missouri University in the field of education.
She married Stephen Clark, Sr., CEO of BRC Distributors and they recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. Shirley and Stephen successfully raised three sons, Stephen, Jr., Stanford, and Sidney, grandparents of six granchildren.
