Marilyn Kay Sloan born January 19, 1959 received her wings March 9, 2016. Marilyn was raised in the Ville Neighborhood and attended St. Matthews’s grade school and graduated from Sumner High School. She also extended her education and graduated from Poro Beauty School and Missouri College with a degree in Personal Training. Marilyn was a volunteer water aerobics instructor at Tandy Community Center and Monsanto YMCA. Marilyn’s dedication to her community was shown in the years that she was Block Captain 1102 for Maffitt Avenue. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memories Sisters Mary Bell & Dana Carver. Good friends Stella Davis, Alexandra Davis. God-Children Toria, Savannah and Alexandria and life companion Milton Jordan and many, many more friends that will miss her dearly. Marilyn’s perpetual light shall shine forever as she Rests In Peace.
