Saturday evening, March 5, Mentor St. Louis will host its 2nd Annual Award Gala at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in downtown St. Louis.
This year, the organization, which is dedicated to educating and inspiring area youth, will honor James H. Buford, president of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, for “his decades of selfless contributions to the betterment of local community.”
Mentor St. Louis is the largest volunteer organization in the St. Louis Public Schools, providing mentoring relationships for K-5 students “to enrich their curriculum, minds, hearts and lives.”
