I just want to say that the article was wonderful about Mama Lisa. Mama Lisa was my former instructor at Lindenwood University, and she opened my eyes to so many amazing things that I had no clue about my own culture.
I can’t thank God enough for allowing her to come into my life and to bless me and my family. I now make sure that my children are aware about their own culture, and we attend events that help us to embrace our culture even more.
