The SLSO is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide confidential administrative support to the Vice President and Director of Artistic Administration.

Schedule appointments, meetings and maintain daily appointment calendar. Receive and screen telephone calls, mail and visitors. Manage all aspects of guest conductor and guest artist contract administration. Create and distribute guest artist information; order and maintain inventory of guest artist related supplies. Participate in production meetings and concert duty. Assist Artistic and Operations Departments as necessary.

Position requires minimum 3 years administrative experience at an executive level. Knowledge of classical music necessary; previous experience in the Symphony industry helpful. Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access & Outlook. Ability to perform diversified duties, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, work with confidential data, and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others. High level of accuracy in all areas of job performance of utmost importance.
