“For we walk by faith (we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor: thus we walk) not by sight or appearance.” IICor. 5:7 (Amplified Bible)
Understanding and knowing the authority that has been given to every believer is key to receiving the harvest that God has prepared for His children. The Body of Christ must understanding the position and role that they play in fulfilling the plan of God for their lives. What you say, think and act upon will always determine the level of victory that exist in your life.
What are you expecting from God? What is it that you really want to see manifested in your life before this year is over and into the year 2006? Even though God has promised to bless you and pour out a double portion into your life, there is a key part that you must play. First of all, know that you are in partnership with God. Your Heavenly Father needs your thoughts, words and actions in order for Him to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing into your life.
The dominion and authority on the earth has been given to the Body of Christ. If you take no action and speak no words of expectation out of your mouth in faith, do not expect to receive a harvest.
Do you really know what you desire from God? Is it healing for your body or for a loved one, deliverance from a stronghold in your life, a better paying job, good transportation, a new home, a successful business or financial freedom?
Remember, God has promised to give you the desires of your heart. In order for God to move you must stay focused on what you are believing to happen in your life. Doubt and negativity must have no place in your life. The enemy will attempt to hinder the outpouring of your blessings if you allow doubt and fear to have any power or authority in your heart.
One of my business partners is in New Orleans working on a special project. Over the weekend she found herself without a place to live. There were no hotels within a hundred miles available. She was actually on the street with her bags in the van with no place to go. But, we knew that God had sent us to New Orleans to do a work and had promised to be with us. She called me and left a message. I had been praying all weekend because the Spirit of God had shown me that this housing challenge was going to come. I thought that it would happen the next week. I returned her call and received the challenging news. But, praise God, I knew it was just right for God. After praying and affirming the outcome, the Spirit gave me one name to call. I made one call and in a time span of fifteen minutes, my partner had a place to stay. Not only did she get the place in close proximity but God fulfilled another desire that we had. If we had not stayed focused and started to doubt or complain, the blessings would have been aborted.
Make sure that you have removed all doubt, worry and fear from your heart. Know without any doubt that God want you to experience a harvest of blessings. In order to experience the abundance of blessing during this season, you must learn to trust God’s word to be the final authority in your life.
