Thank to Victoria Ryan Bailey for capturing one of my fonder memories at Busch Stadium, that wonderful night dancing with Stevie until dawn. What a concert! I remember the throngs of people pouring out onto the Downtown streets of St. Louis in the wee hours, but there were no disturbances. When I left that concert, I immediately went home and threw the last few articles of clothing into my suitcase in time to get to the airport, fly to Miami and board a ship for a 7-day cruise. I agree with you: “Still, nothing will ever match the magic Stevie created at Busch the time he played all night long for his friends in and around St. Louis.”
