St. Louis-born national recording artist David Peaston hasn’t been playing many gigs due to his battle with diabetes, but after the support he received in concert as featured vocalist for a recent IN UNISON Chorus performance, he’s stepping back up to the mic. He will play two shows, 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 16 at the Ethical Society of St. Louis, 9001 Clayton Rd. The concert, which also features Fred Robinson, Leslie Johnson and Leslie Williams, will help Peaston raise funds for medical care and make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
