State Rep. Maria Chappelle-Nadal falsely claims that Governor Blunt initiated the request for $2.1 million to renovate the taxpayer-owned governor’s residence. Gov. Holden is the one who sought that increase.
Medicaid: let’s talk facts. Missouri ranks #2 in Medicaid payments and #39 in revenue income of the 50 states. Blunt is committed to fiscal responsibility, so he made some hard decisions.
I could talk about Holden’s misuse of the state jet or the Highway Department’s minority participation effort, but I don’t want to get into a debate about who has the best master. The conversation should be: how can we as African Americans, from both sides of the aisle, come together for the common good.
The only person that will save us is us! The social welfare gravy train is riding into the sunset.
