Racial Harmony Service Sunday at Church of the Master
Northview Village, 2415 N. Kingshighway Blvd., is hosting its 3rd Annual Gospel Festival this Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Some of St. Louis best choirs and vocalists will perform at this event.
Performers include: David’s Daughters Praise Dancers, Angelic Express, Mt. Zion Sanctuary Choir, Friendly Temple Mass Choir, Bethesda Temple Golden Voices of Youth, Mt. Airy Mass Choir, G.G. Praise Angels, Washington Metropolitan A.M.E. Gospel Choir and Grand Manor Senior Quartet.
Scheduled speakers at the event include Missouri State Auditor Claire McCaskill, President of the Clergy Coalition Rev. Dr. Sammie E. Jones, Alderman Terry Kennedy, Mayor of East St. Louis Carl Officer and St. Louis Chief of Police Joseph Mokwa.
Continental breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. and continue while supplies last. None other than Rolando Carter will serve free hotdogs and hamburgers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Seating is limited, so please bring a lawn chair.
