The Rev. Dr. Starsky Wilson, Children’s Defense Fund president and CEO, has been voted the chair-elect of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Wilson, former Deaconess Foundation CEO and co-chair the Ferguson Commission, will become the first Black person and faith leader to serve as board chair for RWJF in its 52-year history.
RWJF annually generates grants of about $400 million to organizations that are committed to advancing health equity in America.
