Where he stands
A man is known by what he’d do,
When times are tough, and skies aren’t blue.
It’s not at ease or calm and bright,
But in the dark, he shows his light.
When others run or turn away,
The strongest hearts will choose to stay.
Through fear and doubt, they stand their ground,
Where courage, hope, and truth are found.
It takes a heart that dares to care,
To face injustice and stand and share.
To lift the weak, to right the wrong,
And be the voice where none belongs.
No easy path can take a toll,
Through the fire we find the goal.
A life of purpose, bold and true,
Is forged in all he dares to do.
And when the battle’s finally done,
He’ll stand to see what was won.
Not fame or fortune, but something more
