Egidio Chaimite of Mozambique has been selected as the Lincoln University Fulbright Scholar in 2026-27.
Lincoln won a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence award that will support Chaimite, who is studying democracy and local government with the Citizenship and Governance Research Group at the Institute of Social and Economic Studies, will instruct political science courses on international relations and Mozambican society and politics.
He holds a Ph.D. in development studies from Sussex University in the United Kingdom, an undergraduate degree in public administration from Odolin Mondlane University in Mozambique and a master’s in political science from Université Bordeaux in France.
