Rev. Anthony L. Riley, pastor of Central Baptist Church, will receive an Anchor of the Community Award from the National Council of Negro Women on Oct. 4 during the Hidden Treasurers Anchors of the Community Awards Luncheon at the Marriott St. Louis Airport.
Riley has served as pastor at Central since March 2019. He is the 14th pastor of the church, which was established in 1846. It is the second-oldest African American church in the region.
