SLPS appoints Joshua Henning, Laterica Williams to key interim roles
St. Louis Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Myra Berry has named Dr. Joshua Henning as interim chief of staff and Laterica Williams as interim executive director of human resources.
Henning’s SLPS service began in 1999 as a high school history teacher. He served in various school-level administrative roles, including instructional support administrator, assistant principal and principal.
Most recently, Henning was executive director of college and career readiness, following roles as an associate superintendent of college and career readiness and coordinator of workforce development, where he led an internship program.
Williams brings more than a decade of experience in human resources leadership and organizational management, eight years of which were with SLPS.
As SLPS’ director of HR operations, Williams oversaw a team that serves as the first point of contact for the district’s more than 3,500 employees.
She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human resources management from Lindenwood University and is a certified professional through the Society for Human Resource Management.
