Kimberly Norwood, the Henry H. Oberschelp Professor of Law at Washington University, will deliver the keynote address at the 25th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration hosted by St. Louis Community College.
The event, organized in partnership with North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice, will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 20. The theme is “Mentoring the Dream: Leading with Light and Love.”
Florissant Valley Presbyterian Church will be recognized as a founding partner in the long-running celebration. The Hazelwood School District will receive the Dr. Rance Thomas Excellence in Community Partnership Award for its work with STLCC to expand dual credit and dual enrollment programs.
