Blaine Reid graduated on Dec. 19 with a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri College of Engineering.
Reid, a Kirkwood native, earned her undergraduate electrical engineering degree from Mizzou and conducted graduate research at the University of Missouri Research Reactor, focusing on thermal neutron transmutation and defect development in silicon carbide.
She also served as a nuclear engineering intern with Black & Veatch in Overland Park, Kansas, and as an electrical engineering intern at Ameren’s Callaway nuclear facility.
