Aaliyah Leggs, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy, represented St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley campus as student marshal during the STLCC 2026 Commencement ceremony on May 29 at Chaifetz Arena.
Leggs, a 2014 Hazelwood Central High School graduate, also holds an associate degree in nutrition from Florissant Valley.
She returned to school to earn her bachelor’s degree and worked as a student respiratory therapist at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital.
She plans to take her board examinations and begin a full-time job as a respiratory therapist at Cardinal Glennon.
