World Wide Technology Raceway announced Sunday morning that the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series race is officially sold out — marking the event’s fifth consecutive sellout since its 2022 debut.
The race is the second event in the 10‑race Chase playoff format and the 12th Cup Series sellout of the 2026 season. It is also the first announced sellout of this year’s Chase. The 240‑lap, 300‑mile race on the 1.25‑mile oval aired live at 2 p.m. CT on USA Network, Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
WWT Raceway Owner and CEO Curtis Francois said the continued support reflects the strength of NASCAR’s presence in the Metro East and St. Louis region.
“The response from our fans and the community has been nothing short of extraordinary,” Francois said. “Selling out all reserved grandstand seating for the Enjoy Illinois 300 for the fifth consecutive year is a tremendous accomplishment for everyone involved.”
Francois added that the momentum reinforces the long‑term future of NASCAR in the St. Louis market.
“The foundation we’ve built is a testament to the passion of NASCAR fans throughout the Metro East and St. Louis region — and beyond — as well as the incredible support from our partners, volunteers and local leaders,” he said.
The race‑day experience also includes the return of the Confluence Music Festival. Ten‑time ACM Award‑winning country group Old Dominion will headline the weekend with a post‑race concert at 7:30 p.m.
NASCAR will return to WWT Raceway in 2027 with an Aug. 21–22 doubleheader featuring the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday and the Cup Series on Sunday. Fans can find updates and ticket information at wwtraceway.com.
