Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, are speaking openly about the strain on their marriage after a fraud case upended their lives. During the Oct. 11 season premiere of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Wendy said the arrest changed everything.

“The world that I knew is completely different,” she shared. “Everything happened at what I thought was the height of my career, and then I lost it all.”

Eddie echoed the uncertainty. “You just never know what tomorrow will bring,” he said. “We’ve just been going through the process. The process takes a freaking long time.”

In October 2025, a grand jury indicted the couple on charges including insurance fraud and conspiracy. Prosecutors say the case stems from a reported burglary at their home, where more than $200,000 in items were allegedly stolen while they vacationed in Jamaica in April 2024. Both have denied wrongdoing.

A rep previously told Us Weekly the Osefos “look forward to their day in court.” On Sunday’s episode, Wendy confirmed they have separate legal teams as the case moves forward.

“This has definitely been the darkest time in our marriage,” she said. Eddie added, “I feel we’re rebuilding trust with each other.”
