St. Louis Community College will cover tuition and book costs remaining after other financial aid is applied for about 100 eligible students from the city of St. Louis and North St. Louis County beginning in spring 2027.
The STLCC Promise Program will serve full-time students at its Forest Park and Florissant Valley campuses, focusing on manufacturing, technology and health care careers. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Applications open this month.
The college is contributing $1 million, with another $500,000 coming from its foundation.
