Sources revealed to Page Six the reason Sean “Diddy” Combs was briefly hospitalized last weekend. According to the celebrity news and gossip outlet, the injury was the result of him hitting his head on a bunk bed inside the federal prison in New Jersey where he is serving time.

Sources told Page Six that Combs struck his head on the bunk above him and was taken to a nearby medical facility. TMZ reported that the 56‑year‑old was transported by ambulance around 1 a.m. Saturday for what officials described as a non‑life‑threatening injury. He was said to be conscious and speaking after the incident.

A representative for Combs told Page Six they are working to confirm details.

Combs is serving a 50‑month sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

His prison stay has drawn scrutiny. In September, NBC News reported that Combs was allegedly enjoying a “pampered” lifestyle behind bars, with inmates claiming he had access to premium liquor, antidepressants and a cellphone.
