Last year movie mogul Tyler Perry was involved in a bizarre stalking situation after a former employee broke into the Tyler Perry Studios from the roof, locked himself in a room and refused to come out until he was granted a meeting with Tyler Perry.
This year the alleged stalker is suing Perry for defamation.
Perry has been named in a lawsuit filed by Joshua Sole claiming he was libeled after Perry called him “mentally disturbed” in a post on social media.
Perry is part of a larger lawsuit filed by Sole where the disgruntled former employee accuses his Tyler Perry Studios male supervisor of physical and sexual harassment claiming he was demoted and later suspended after complaining to studio execs.
Sole is seeking unspecified damages for retaliation, negligent and reckless failure to provide a safe work environment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery, invasion of privacy, libel and bad faith.
