All-American prep football star Dorial Green-Beckham of Springfield Hillcrest High (Mo.) has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of Missouri.

The 6’6″ 220-pound wide receiver was rated the No. 1 player at his position and the No. 3 player overall by ESPNU’s Top 150.

Green-Beckham represents the highest profile recruit to sign with Mizzou during the tenure of head coach Gary Pinkel. Green-Beckham made the official announcement at a packed Hillcrest High gymnasium and in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPNU.

The multi-talented Green-Beckham picked Mizzou over such programs as Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and many others.

Green-Beckham was selected the National Player of the Year by Parade Magazine. His signing may be the biggest by an in-state recruit since former Hazelwood Central All-American Tony Van Zant signed with Missouri in 1986.
