O’Jays singer and R&B great Eddie Levert’s youngest child, daughter Ryan Levert, passed away December 2024.
Carlysia Levert – daughter of the late Gerald Levert – confirmed the news via social media.
“Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family,” Carlysia posted on Instagram. “Please send extra love up for my papa and nana.”
Ryan’s death was the result of a battle with lupus. She was 22.
Gerald, also a beloved R&B crooner, passed away suddenly at the age of 40 in 2006.
Sean Levert, who was in the group Levert with his older brother Gerald, passed away in 2008. He was 39.
My prayers 🙏 go out to Eddie and and Raquel and the Entire LeVert Family for ur Loss for which is a great and Sad Loss and which three we’re taking far to soon but they will never be forgotten and they will always be in our hearts 💕 and I will be sending my condolences and prayers 🙏 from Jackson Michigan. I would like to say something else pertaining to the post i commented on about Ms RAYAN LeVert I just can’t keep quiet I’m a fan 🪭 yes I love the ojays aka the leverts when posting about when someone passes away u don’t have to go into details and why and call ur self in embarrassing the family it’s just not right it doesn’t matter were they went and how they died that’s wrong there’s no need to disclose all of that it’s not everybody’s business that what hits a nerve with me, sorry not sorry they deserve there privacy just like everyone else.thats my opinion.and no I’m not related but I’m a big fan 🪭 of the leverts.once again from Jackson 🙏 Michigan.
