Four years ago singer Tyrese’s second wife, Samantha Lee, filed for divorce after nearly four years of marriage and one child together.
The singer and actor took to social media to celebrate that the divorce is settled.
“Divorce is finally done done. This birthday and New Year’s Eve into 2026 are gonna hit different. Legendary times loading,” Tyrese captioned on an Instagram image promoting his upcoming white party in Turks & Caicos. “ A testimony so life charging I refuse to keep it to myself. After 4½ years, nearly $2M+ in legal fees, surviving one of the most emotionally draining seasons of my life.”
Tyrese also proudly pointed out in the post that during the divorce process he released a studio album. He also talked about the downside of the process playing out in public.
“Endured almost $50M worth of public scrutiny, PR damage, and reputational attacks tied to divorce and child support battles the whole world got to witness,” Tyrese said. “But if you know anything about life…Setbacks are just setups.”
