Tennis star Venus Williams and Italian actor Andrea Preti tied the knot in a romantic wedding in Palm Beach. They exchanged vows on Saturday, December 20, after a five-day celebration with their friends and family members.
“It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day,” Williams told Vogue in a story published on Tuesday, December 23, which shared photos from the lavish week.
Williams revealed the couple actually had an unofficial wedding in Italy in September before the Florida nuptials.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams explained. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork —because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
