At the Angad Arts Hotel, luxury also comes with a local―and very fashionable new twist thanks to Ring for Bling. The in-suite fashion concierge service connects them with talented stylists and artists from across the St. Louis region without leaving the comfort of their room.
Exclusive to Angad, Ring for Bling offers a premium head-to-toe styling experience. Guests can select from curated looks brought directly to their suite for any celebration or event. The signature package includes hair, makeup and photography―everything needed for a glamorous night on the town.

“Ring for Bling Fashion Concierge Service is a direct reflection of our mission to support local creatives, offer visitors an inspiring experience, and encourage guests to live boldly,” said Nikolaus Kern, Angad Arts Hotel’s general manager.
The service features two respected St. Louis style professionals―AK Brown – The Fashion Connector and Cara Patrice, founder of PhanC Consulting. With decades of experience between them, the duo blends expertise with each client’s goals to create standout looks.
“They came up with the program with me in mind, as a way to have a better connection with the fashion industry,” said Brown. “I decided to leverage that by bringing in Cara, who’s not only a personal friend, but a well-known influencer and personal stylist.”
Drawing inspiration from designers and celebrity stylists like J. Bolin, Patrice is known for bold, unexpected styling choices.
“Whenever I style somebody I always like to give this disclaimer: Be open minded and have confidence,” Patrice said. “Be open, because we’re the experts. I always want to make you feel comfortable, but also different.
Brown says that building confidence and self-love are the first steps in the successful development of personal style.
“A lot of the time, we’re kinda acting as a therapist,” said Brown. “If you don’t like how you look, and we’re not tackling those things that you are battling when it comes to clothing and fashion, it’s not going to work out.”
Booking the service begins with reserving a stay at Angad. After receiving the room confirmation email―or by visiting the “Ring for Bling” tab on the www.akbrownstl.com ―guests can choose their option from “A La Carte Services.” Choices range from 30-minute to 90-minute styling sessions that include accessory pairing or fully styled looks.
A select group of guests also have access to “The Full Glam Experience.” This feature is only available for guests who book one of the Angad’s mood-provoking Grand Suites. The elevated package includes full styling, social media content support, a private in-suite cocktail artist, event transportation and breakfast for two at Commonwealth, the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant.

“This service is great for anybody seeking that luxurious experience,” Patrice said. “We want any client that books to get the celebrity feel, whether it’s girls’ night or Gala season.”
“[Ring for Bling] is a treat, it’s a way to spoil yourself and indulge,” Brown added. “If you’re going to the extent to treat yourself with a stay, you might as well throw this in.”
Beyond elevating guests, Ring for Bling also uplifts the talented independent and freelance artists who power the St. Louis style scene.
“I would love to work with local, especially Black owned designers and boutiques, to get their products in the hands of some of these clients,” Brown said. “And a lot of people that come to stay at the hotel are from out of town, so this is a really good opportunity to help with visibility.”
Promoting Black entrepreneurs is central to Brown’s brand.
“Visibility is one of my pillars as The Fashion Connector, visibility in fashion or the lack thereof,” she said. “So if I can use this opportunity to get clients to buy or pull pieces from black designers, I think that’s a win-win.”
Patrice has already felt the impact of that visibility.
“Ring for Bling has really opened up my brand,” she said. “I’ve had my brand viewed by celebrities―and that’s a long-term goal, to be a celebrity stylist.”
The Ring for Bling Fashion Concierge Service is available for booking through summer 2026. For more information, visit www.akbrownstl.com
