The Stifel Charity Classic has flourished while nestled at its Norwood Hills Country Club home in north St. Louis County for the past five years.
Tournament officials have announced the Stifel Classic, presented by Compliance Solutions, raised more than $640,000 for charitable organizations in North St. Louis County and beyond.
The tournament’s 2025 primary beneficiaries, Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL), Marygrove, RecoVET, and Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, each received $125,000 from the tournament which concluded on Sept. 7, 2025.
Including charitable donations from the Compliance Solutions Charity Putting Challenge and Folds of Honor Friday, the Stifel Charity Classic’s total giving amount since 2020 has topped $4.2 million.
“This tournament provides an incredible platform to give back,” said Ron Kruszewski, Stifel chair and CEO.
“We are proud to continue to grow the philanthropic mission of the Stifel Charity Classic presented by Compliance Solutions and the invaluable work this tournament annually accomplishes for charitable organizations right here in our hometown of St. Louis.
“Charity and civic pride align perfectly with our core values and will remain the foundation of the Stifel Charity Classic and our strong commitment to benefiting the communities in which we live, work and play.”
The tournament’s popularity, community outreach, and fan support have resulted in the 2026 Stifel Charity Classic being moved to October 19-25. The sixth annual tournament will be the first event in the PGA TOUR Champions Charles Schwab Cup Playoff, a season-ending, three-tournament series to determine the TOUR’s season-long champion.
The 2026 PGA TOUR Champions regular season features 28 events (25 regular season and three playoff events) and will have players competing for more than $70 million in total prize money, the highest in PGA TOUR Champions’ 46-season history.
This year’s Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs will mark the 10th year for the PGA TOUR Champions culminating series. Past Charles Schwab Cup champions include World Golf Hall of Fame members Bernhard Langer (6), Missouri natives Tom Watson (2) and Hale Irwin (2), and 2025 champion Stewart Cink.
The Stifel Charity Classic’s events and activities associated with the Stifel Charity Classic provide an all-inclusive, entertaining atmosphere, according to club officials.
“The beautiful views of historic Norwood Hills Country Club serve as a backdrop for world-class golf and provide the perfect venue to mingle with friends, family and business leaders while watching some of golf’s greatest champions,”
