Employment Connection, a workforce development non-profit agency, will host a “Summer Tasting for Jobs” at 6 p.m. Saturday June 23 at its new headquarters, 2838 Market. Co-hosted by Alderwoman Kacie Starr Triplett, state Rep. Robin Wright Jones and state Sen. Jeff Smith, the event will feature artwork created by clients served through Employment Connection; ex-offenders, veterans, the homeless and individuals looking to leave public assistance.
Employment Connection has offered career development and placement to thousands of individuals each year. Employment Connection strengthens communities, reduces crimes and helps families by assisting individuals with limited means to self-sufficiency through employment.
