Daniel Isom has been appointed to the Bi-State Development Board of Commissioners. The 10-member board provides policy direction for Bi-State Development and its enterprises.
Isom is vice president of safety, security, and crisis management for Ameren. He served as interim director of public safety for the city of St. Louis in 2021 and as police commissioner from 2008-2013.
He holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He also earned a Master of Arts in public administration from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and criminal justice from UM-Missouri St. Louis.
